Training Recommendations

This document is a reference for individuals putting together annual WFDSS training refreshers for Agency Administrator; the Interagency Standards for Fire and Fire Aviation Operations (Red Book) Appendix N recommends an annual refresher. The training recommendations provided in this document are not new but highlight the important topics and what is available.

2025 Interagency AA WFDSS Refresher- March 11th, 2025 11:30-13:30 Mt.

Join us for our annual AA WFDSS Refresher!  Registration is required for this webinar. After the live webinar attendees can access a course certificate through the Learning Portal. Self-Enroll in the course: Agency Administrator WFDSS Refresher Webinar 2025. If you don't have a Learning Portal Account you can create one on the Learning Portal.

If you are unable to attend the live event the recording will be posted here shortly after the live event for viewing.

  • Roll out and launch of the NEW NextGen WFDSS (replacing Classic WFDSS late March)
  • Access and environments
  • Getting users support for NextGen WFDSS
  • Major differences AAs need to know about the new application
  • Overview of the application

 

Need the WFDSS Refresher for certification and can't wait until the March 11th, 2025 event? You can view last year's recording and access the Learning Portal's 2024 course for a certificate. If possible please attend/view the 2025 webinar, it be cover the New NextGen WFDSS application and specifically changes that impact AAs.
